Catherine Zehner CYT, RYT
With over two decades of practicing and teaching, I have witnessed—both personally and through my students—the profound, transformative benefits of yoga and meditation. These practices have supported me in navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and in deepening my spiritual connection.
As a full-time caregiver to my youngest adult son, who lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the tools of yoga and mindfulness have truly been my lifeline.
Since becoming a registered Yoga Alliance teacher in 2004, I have drawn from a wide range of practices, with a focus on the therapeutic aspects of yoga. I weave these with somatic strength exercises to enhance and support each posture, making the practice both accessible and deeply restorative.
In 2015, after a time of significant life changes and loss, I attended a three-day immersion in Transcendental Meditation, a turning point that led me into the rich world of Mindfulness Meditation. In 2022, I furthered this journey by completing the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) program with Tina Langdok of Trillium Yoga in Milwaukee.
Today, I integrate mindfulness and meditation into my yoga classes, fostering a holistic approach that supports both the physical and emotional well-being of my students. My intention is always to create a safe, nurturing environment where everyone can thrive.
Beyond teaching, I treasure time with my two adult sons, exploring nature through hiking and walking, capturing its beauty with my camera, and reconnecting with a beloved passion, horseback riding.
It is my joy and honor to hold space for those seeking balance, self-care, and inner peace through these practices.
Peace, love, and blessings as we navigate our own paths.

Get to know your true nature...Move from a human doing to a human being, inviting us to be here now present in each moment...From mindlessness to mindfulness...From thoughtless to thoughtful...From disconnected to connected to ourselves and the world we live in. We can find these things within our practices.
